Great Weekend!

Conference weekend is always a good time of the year.  This weekend has been way fun.  I came home Friday and am staying till Sunday night.  This is pretty typical though since I come home way too often.  However, this weekend all 4 kids were here so we had the whole family together.  It has been fun hanging out as a family.  Friday and Saturday the weather was so nice that we hung outside playing basketball, throwing the football, and hitting some golf balls.  That warm weather didn't last long though because I woke up this morning and was shocked to see a winter wonderland.

Another exciting part of this weekend was Isaac's 25th birthday.  To celebrate we went out to dinner as a family.  Of course we went to Chinese food as we always do, and of course we went to the same restaurant, Ming's Garden.  After dinner we came home and ate our family's traditional chocolate birthday cake.  However, this time I made the cake :)  I'm not usually considered domestic so I was very proud how yummy the cake turned out!!

Figuring Things Out

Well I really want to start blogging, however, I can't figure this site out!  I can't make my page cute for the life of me and it's really depressing.  I look at other peoples pages and they are way cute and personalized with pictures and everything.  Mainly this post and picture is to see how everything works and hopefully I can really start blogging soon.
